Code of conduct for tenants and guests

The paragraphs on this page form an integral part of all agreements concluded with 'Lake Loft Colonno'. By signing a holiday rental agreement for accommodation from 'Lake Loft Colonno', you as a customer confirm that you respect and comply with this code of conduct.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. All guests and visitors shall abide by all rules of behaviour and instructions of the hostess Betty (and Markus as deputy) during their stay at Lake Loft Colonno; and

  2. Guests shall inform the hostess as soon as possible of any disputes or complaints from third parties.

NOISE AND NEIGHBOURHOOD

  1. This holiday rental property is not designed for small children. Tenants and guests are responsible at all times for the safety of their children and for any disturbance caused to other residents in the neighbourhood;

  2. Guests and visitors shall keep noise to a minimum so as not to disturb the residents of neighbouring properties - especially during the night hours (from 23:00 - 8:00)

  3. Excessive noise must be refrained from at all times and may result in cancellation of the holiday rental agreement, eviction, loss of rent paid and additional fees which may be charged extra.

VISITORS

  1. Guests are allowed a maximum of 4 visitors during their stay (not for overnight stays in the Lake Loft without prior booking);

  2. Guests are responsible for ensuring that the maximum number of visitors is not exceeded; and visitors also respect and adhere to this Code of Conduct;

  3. All additional overnight visitors must be pre-booked during the booking process and are subject to an additional charge which will be stated in the final price.

  4. Access to the private beach is only permitted for tenants of the Lake Loft.

GROUPS

  1. Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited in the holiday rental; and

  2. Any small gathering must adhere to the rules regarding noise, neighbourhood and visitor numbers.

CAR PARKING

  1. Guests and all visitors shall comply with the parking regulations and other requirements set out below at all times and show consideration for neighbours and other vehicles; and

  2. Parking facilities during the holiday rental period:

  • Only the renter's car may use the assigned parking garage
  • The gate remote control may not be passed on to third parties
  • E-charging is not possible
  • The car park is accessible 24/7 during the rental period
  • No parking spaces are available for other visitor vehicles

WASTE AND RECYCLING

  1. Guests and visitors separate their rubbish for disposal in the allocated bins (as indicated below). Excess waste must not be left in public or common areas; and

  2. Household waste and food waste must be separated in the designated bins as follows:

  • PET/plastic/aluminium (yellow bin)
  • Paper/cardboard (grey container)
  • Moist compost waste (brown container)


SECURITY

  1. When leaving the holiday accommodation, tenants shall ensure that all windows and doors are closed/locked to ensure safety and to prevent rain and water damage.

  2. Guests switch off lights, heating/air conditioning units, fans and electronic devices such as televisions when not in use to save energy.


SWIMMING IN THE LAKE

  1. Swimming in the lake is allowed at your own risk; and

  2. There is no lifeguard on the private beach; and

  3. The use of the private beach of the holiday flat is the sole responsibility of the tenants/guests; and

  4. Tenants/guests independently take all necessary precautions for non-swimmers in the lake water to prevent any type of injury or drowning accident; and

  5. Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited on the private beach; and

  6. Any small gathering must comply with other rules regarding noise, neighbourhood and visitor numbers.

OUTDOOR AREA

  1. Guests must supervise babies and children at all times when using the terraces, balcony areas and private beach; and

  2. Smoking is ONLY permitted on the balconies and in the outdoor area of the holiday flat.

  3. Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the interior of the property

SMOKING & BARBECUING

  1. Smoking is NOT permitted in the holiday flat; and

  2. Cigarette butts must be disposed of in the ashtrays provided;

  3. Any kind of barbecue with smoke is prohibited, neither in the holiday flat, nor on the balconies and on the beach.

PETS

  1. Pets are NOT allowed in the holiday flat; and

  2. Special exceptions must be requested in advance during the booking process.


DAMAGE & BREAKAGE

  1. All damage and breakages must be reported to the hostess immediately. Any costs will be charged additionally. And;

  2. To avoid damage and breakages, no furniture may be moved from one room to another without prior agreement. Likewise;

  3. Bathroom towels are only to be used for their intended purpose (e.g. separate beach towels are provided for beach use).

CHECK-OUT AGREEMENTS

  1. There are two options:

  • - Assisted check-out: Hostess Betty will meet you for a personal farewell. Please call Colonno 10 minutes before departure and Betty will say goodbye to you personally.
  • - Self check-out: Guests can also check out individually. There is a key safe at the main entrance where keys can be left. An individual code must be requested from the hostess in advance.

Any non-scheduled check-out must be confirmed in advance by the hostess during the stay.

  1. Any violation of the above requirements is a violation of the terms of use as per the rental agreement.
